About me

Hi there! I am Orchestereo, a composer, multi-instrumentalist, and content creator on Twitch.

I began my musical journey with the violin amongst various instruments at the age of 4 growing up in South Africa. With a hunger to learn to write music in unique and interactive ways, I set out to pursue my career further in the United States, where I attained my Bachelor's degree (Cum Laude) in Film Scoring with a minor in Video Game Scoring from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston.

I currently reside in Los Angeles, where I work full time as a media composer and recording violinist for various bands and projects while studying my dual masters in Video Game Composition and Orchestration with Thinkspace Education. Through my industry work, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with Grammy Award-Winning singer/songwriter Jacob Collier, Grammy Award-Winning composer Lili Haydn, Anson Seabra, and Kaki King. My recent work where I have contributed music has been nominated for the 2021 Emmy Award and has received the New England Emmy Award in 2018.

With my experiences as a composer, performer, editor with a love for the gaming community, I set out to become a full-time streamer during the lockdown. Twitch has allowed me to create a community and present my works to a diverse audience of artists and Minecrafters. I love to perform my ambient soundscapes for healing, compose music live with custom commissions that bring on new styles of writing, and build my stream-safe music library called “Project Serenity,” where I have curated 7 hours of my music for streamers and content creators to use DMCA-Free.

My music is inspired by nature, narrative, and a drive for experimenting with new ways of using technology with art.
